hmmm. interesting talk from CB that kind of makes sense (i.e. trade Westbrook so you can at least get something from him before he likely leaves as a FA next year like OKC did with Harden)

this is the part that i don't like about super teams. i'd like to see secondary / bench / older players say, "fuck this, let's go against them" not gather like flies on a fresh kill.

Eh, I don't mind it. They're usually past contributing a whole lot anyway and it's nice to see some players finally get a ring after being on teams that could never win.

At least okc has the great roster of Russ oladipo Adams and 100 other bigs that don't play #toptier

 

Whats underrated is that this team is going to be amazing defensively on the perimeter. 4 of the 5 all-stars on their team are all great defenders. You seriously CANT beat them going small. Like no possible way. Every other team should be looking ways to exploit the post game.

Also yea they were 73-9. And also games were over quick. Curry only averaged 34 minutes per game. Hell probably only play in the 20s now and games will be over like halfway through the second quarter. I fully expect some of the biggest blowouts in nab history.

 

How many points will the Rockets defense give up to the Warriors?

 

Such a risky move. As of now a lot of GSW's depth gets gutted. You also bring on an unprecedented amount of hate/backlash/pressure.

Anything less than a title is an abject failure. So much is riding on the health of those 4 guys. I've already posted why I thought the Warriors was bad for KD from an individual perspective (and it is). If they don't win it all this year, this is a complete disaster for him.

 

There depth will be fine once all the ring-chasing vets sign for the minimum. And if one of the four goes down, they still have 3 superstars to fill the void.

Everything short of a title was already a failure in OKC/current basketball environment. Might as well put yourself in the best position to win.
