I was not sold on this at all, but then around the 25 second mark hit and I was like "fuck yeah, I want to go down a hill through a forest dodging trees on a Huffy bike."

 

Side note: I am totally trading in my Switch and getting the better battery life one. That's the biggest thing I've wanted for the system and will absolutely make me play it much much more.

I only ever really play docked and have never played handheld long enough for it to die so I’m cool with the current model

 

I'm sure it won't happen anytime soon. It makes much more sense right now for Nintendo to have two Switches, the Lite and the Master and have the Master be replaced by a new model over time. If I were them I'd wait until we see how things shake out with the Xbox One Two or the PS5

I prefer the open world and exploration aspects of this compared to dungeons, yes.

one week until FE folks

 

If I have to choose between buying Fire Emblem and Ultimate Alliance this month, I'm choosing FE and will wait for UA to go on sale.

 

Obviously I'm biased and would say FE anyway, but UA is going to go on sale at some point in the next few months but FE will still cost the same this time next year. So wise decision.

 

Will UA go on sale that quickly? It’s published by Nintendo so that may make it take longer to drop in price.

 

Some Nintendo games fall in price quickly these days, the big ones still don't, but a lot of the lesser titles do

 

When a game is a GOTY candidate it doesn't typically reduce in price that quickly

BotW is still full price even now, the very popular Nintendo games retain their value, where games like Captain Toad and FE Warriors don't. Even GOTY contenders on other consoles(eg GoW) go on sale way sooner

 

BotW goes on sale a ton for like 47 bucks around here along with a lot of the main nintendo titles. You won't see it for less though. Wal-mart also sells everything starting at 50 bucks which is p cool.
