Also they either censored "making out" or "took off my pants" or both

BIOMY sounded bad, BTD and WMAA sounded good.

I had to laugh that the GMA host wouldn’t/didn’t say Enema of the State.

Also they briefly showed them playing ATST earlier in the show so I imagine they played 3 or so off air songs

Interesting that the album drops basically as soon as the current tour ends

I changed our introduction song hours before the wedding. So it's possible, haha.
(We went from Still Into You by paramore to Somebody's Getting Married from the Muppets Take Manhatten. lol)

 

Sweet I’m going to the Barclays show on September 20th. Should be a great (expensive) day.

As a side note, does anyone know how first week album sales are impacted by the Ticketmaster buy a ticket receive an album offer? For example going to 2 shows on this tour I get 2 albums. I also bought Jonas brothers tickets for my gf and those tickets came with 1 album per ticket and I know they sold a ridiculous amount of albums their first week. You would think that selling tens of thousands of tickets to shows that come along with the album would sort of guarantee a high billboard spot right?

The ticket/download offers only count toward album sales if you actually click the link and download. Just buying the ticket doesn't count as a sale.
You'd be surprised how many people don't even download it and stick with listening on Spotify.

 

Well in this case it's a physical CD delivery to the address you used to buy the ticket so...

 

Was it automatically physical cds, or did you have the option for digital download or physical? If physical, great they'll get a boost in sales. If people had the option, I bet a lot of people chose digital.

It all depends on the artist's fanbase. For Metallica, their album stayed in the top 15 of the charts for months after it's release because of ticket bundles. But when NFG did it on their anniversary tour I don't think many people cashed in on it.

 

I believe it was only physical cds? I didn’t see any option to choose it just asked for my delivery address.

 

Looks like on GMA they did Blame it On My Youth, Bored to Death, WMAA, Rock Show, I Miss You, Cynical and ATST. Maybe more, but these are what I'm finding on youtube.
