What’s the logic behind a gradual increase over six years? Wouldn’t the minimum need to be hire than $15 by 2025?

Biden’s campaign so far has felt like Hillary’s....he’s releasing some decent ideas, but his speeches only touch on them a little bit and the “highlights” of his speeches are always the parts about him talking about the “soul of America” and how Trump is immoral and our kids are watching and etc.

It didn’t work in 2016 joe. Why do the same damn thing

  10. Look, if you tell this thread Biden is just as bad a candidate as Hillary Clinton, people are not going to vote for him, what are you doing? ;-p

Unsurprisingly, I'm not sure that Meghan knows what "agency" means.

He’s a much better candidate than Hillary, but his campaign so far has not been.

It should already be higher than that. The fight for $15 started how long ago?

You can’t just raise the minimum wage to $15 overnight, as much as we’d like to see that happen. But you need to give time to businesses to adjust.

I work for a company that raised their minimum to $15 overnight.

You would think the 10 years since it happned last would have been plenty of time to adjust.

  22. You'd think, but now think about the companies with 5-8 employees and trying to make payroll each month, a change that fast would cause them problems. We should have been raising minimum wage for years, but once you decide to do it, you have to roll out in some fashion to account for smaller businesses or there will be layoffs.

Then make an exception for businesses with less than 10 employees to roll it out slower.
Wal-Mart employees need it NOW. Not in 2025.
