I just listened to Neighborhoods at work and damn Mark's songs are all so good (pretty sure ya'll know I love all Tom songs anyways)

 

Dookie and AI will always be my favorite albums by them.

 

There’s something about Warning that I really gravitate to.

 

I skip at least half the songs in AI but God damn letterbomb is a jam

 

I think I found the drunkest person in this thread.

 

WHAT IS HAPPENING IN THIS THREAD TONIGHT

This is partially because I’m still riding the high from it, but thinking back on having seen some of my all-time favorite artists live, blink, Green Day, Death Cab, even a legend like Bruce, I’ve never been to a show where every single fucking song was an absolute elite tier banger like Carly Rae Jepsen was a couple nights ago. Thinking back there’s only maybe one song I would have switched out for a personal song I prefer more but every fan in the place knew every word to every hook and all 21-22 songs or whatever were amazing.

 

Oh man Novocaine, She’s a Rebel, and September slap

 

Whatshername is GOAT status for me.

 

Dookie is one of the best punk rock albums ever made. More classic and timeless feeling than any Blink album.

 

I don't like the fighting though, I love blonk AND grene dae

 

Easy to compare, but rather different in the grand scheme of things. We're lucky to have two massive bands like Blink and Green Day.

 

Can't deny it's impact, and I love it, but Enema >>

 

Okay but we can all agree that Uno, Dos, and Tre are the best Green Day records and that Neighborhoods and Dogs Eating Dogs are the best blink records right?!?!

 

I wonder if either band were ever inspired by each other.

 

I can’t see how Green Day wouldn’t have inspired blink in their early years.

And obviously blink inspired Green Day during the Pop Disaster Tour haha.

 

There may have been a little influence

 

Why bother talking about this when pop punk kings Neck Deep blow both bands out of water? #defendpoppunk

 

The trilogy is GD’s only misstep
