That record is criminally underrated in my opinion. Even Dave said he was jealous that he wasn’t part of that record when he first heard it.

I'd love if more from that album made their sets. Jessica Kill, the title track and the 3 parter would rule.

 

Yes! It's a shame SBM tracks only got played a handful of times during it's album cycle, and even up until this very day! Was so happy to hear a few got played on the No Personal Space tour!

 

They played Jessica Kill at the No Personal Space show I went to in May, and it was awesome.

 

I keep thinking this is out tomorrow. Damn.

That video is really cool.

We all know they put off the release of SBM for everyone's least favorite tracks, but I didn't know it was also for Blood in My Eyes. That is a cool piece of information.

 

So I know No Reason and Reason to Believe (T2 baby!) are their best openers, but Murder of the Crows is really legit too. Underrated song.

 

I need to listen to 13 Voices again. I don’t think I have in full since 2016.

 

Each time I do it holds up more than I thought previously. Some real good stuff on there.

I'd actually give a hot take and say overrated song. Doesn't really start with a bang like the other openers. I'd also say that on that amazing album, its not even in my top 10 there. Wish they would sub that out live for No Brains or Mr Amsterdam.

Probably one of my favorite music videos ever though haha.

 

Lol that is quite the hot take! I would actually say that the live version packs more of a punch than the album version. The opening on “Go Chuck Yourself “ is so awesome.

I’m pretty sure the label paid for Blood but not the other two. Either way, awesome that it was recorded at the 11th hour since that’s easily one of the best songs off SBM.

Yeah, 13 Voices is actually a lot better than I remembered. I'm about half way through it now.

 

I still like Hell Song fine, but I knew that'd be a hot take. I think Motivation packs way more of a punch live, esp with the 88 ending. I'd rather that be the set opener if they aren't going to do Reason to Believe anymore.
