From the beginning it made absolute 100% sense for Kawhi to sign a 2+1 deal considering once he hits 10 years in the league he can get an even larger max. Any agent who would have done anything else than that should be fired.

 

I'm all for these incentive-based contracts. Would like to see it more tbh.
