Production is unreal

 

Finally opened up my vinyl today and there was no download card. Searched my email and no download link. Was there supposed to be a download with the vinyl? Kind of lame if I have to buy a download separate.

 

I never got a digital download e-mail either. I haven’t opened up my vinyl yet (received it on Thursday).

 

Definitely some interesting points. I’d be interested in hearing the other songs and full band version. That sort of summarizes the most talked about elements.

 

Do not miss this show, they were absolutely incredible.

Finally listening to the vinyl. Put this album aside for the last week or so and I missed it. Gotta say, didn’t care for Lake House when it was first released but it’s such a haunting song. Album is so great.

 

The best way I can describe my experience is that this album seeped in very slowly, but eventually took a deep hold

 

I think it was cool that they did a record like this, considering where both bands are. It needed to feel different and does.

 

Def a great record on vinyl.

 

Picked up the coke bottle vinyl yesterday. Sounds perfect

 

into about half of it. left your body and army are my favs. definitely back loaded.

 

Agree w the backloaded take. Left your body is my top track. Reminds me of AH’s one off song “Back of Your Old Church”

 

Incredibly underrated song

 

this led me to listening to this song, which led me to listening to the eventually home. which i always forget how incredible that album is, one of my favorite andy hull albums.

 

This is my first Bad Books album, and I’m kicking myself for not jumping in earlier! As a KD fan, these may be some of the best songs in his career. I’m not super into Andy Hull’s songwriting, but it’s definitely growing on me too; “left you body” is really good.

I’m soooorrrryyyy!! They’re one of that bands I wish I liked, but they just don’t do much for me outside of a few songs. Hopefully this will change that!
