I don’t recall if this was already posted in here at some point or was already common knowledge I missed, but Jim said Love Never is on the album (and that it’s coming in the fall, but that part I think I remember already reading in here maybe)

 

That’s a bit disappointing, I assumed those songs were just one-off stopgaps to hold us over until the record.

 

So did I. I assume "Half Heart" is probably also on it. Hopefully it's a longer album so we still get ten or so new tracks.

 

"half heart" is one of my favourite Jimmy songs so no complaints if it is

 

The complaint isn't that the songs are bad, it's that the songs have been out there for so long and I was hoping for a full album of new tracks. Like if a new song was left off the album in favor of one or both of these two that would be a shame. And it's not even really a complaint it's just a little disappointing.

love never is probably one of my favorite jimmy eat world songs at this point so if it fits sonically into the album to the point where they're including it, well i think we've got a pretty damn good album on our hands

 

love never is amazing and hearing it live twice last week made me like it even more.

half heart isn't on the album and was an "experiment" according to someone on the subreddit who met Rick after a show

 

"Love Never" is a killer song. If they think it fits on this album at this point they have certainly more than earned my trust, plus I also think it bodes well for how great this album is going to be.

I cannot wait to hear how they follow up the sheer auditory gloriousness that is Integrity Blues.
