Also, did not expect an all-Mark track. Nothing against Matt whatsoever, but it's surprisingly refreshing for them to break away from the trading verses formula.

Man does this sound like a blink-182 summer song. Really like it on first listen.

What was that weird edit on first date?? (They’re playing it on Beats one)

 

Really loving the new song. Travis’ drumming sounds really reminiscent of the untitled sound.

 

Song sounds huge. Perfect summer blink. Was like preparing for it to be my least fave of the 3 but it's easily my favorite.

 

They did "Happy Days" into "Rock Show" just now on Beats1 and it cemented that Mark sounds more like Mark on "Happy Days" more so than anything on California if that makes sense. Prob. that weird Feldy vocal effect someone mentioned above.

 

sounds like they are doing a full band interview from 1-2 on beats 1 too

 

Pretty cool song, gives me vibes like the heavier parts of Stay Together For The Kids
