He probably made up his mind on New York a long time ago.

 

Definitely can’t see him staying in GS

 

I could see him staying under the threat of another super team rising in LA, specially now that they are offering him the super max. His whole thing was feeling disrespected for playing at a discount wasn’t it?

 

Yeah I don’t see Kawhi wasting a season with the Knicks to play with KD in two years.

 

If Jimmy goes to Miami, Kyrie to Brooklyn, KD to New York, who would team up with Kawhi to go to the Clippers? My gut says Kawhi signs a 1+1 w/ Toronto.

 

that's a bad plan lol. KD can't play for a year and DJ can't play forever.

 

Butler going to Miami will be heartbreaking as a Sixers fan, but truly fuck their ownership if they never even offered him a 5 year max deal. Was a worthless trade all along then, imo.

I don’t think they honestly care if DJ can play, a lot of teams just see him as a really important recruiter since he is friends with pretty much everyone.
