AD waiving the $4 million trade bonus suggests to me that he knows what the Lakers are spending the $32 million dollar cap space on. Not saying it’s Kawhi necessarily, but I would be surprised at this point if it’s not one max player.

 

Definitely thinking they will get another max player. Then recruit a few guys to take less on short-term deals to bump their value and re-enter free agency, like Nerlens Noel or something along those lines. Then fill the roster out with guys like JR Smith, Mello, maybe a Jeff Green, and Korver (if he’s bought out).
