“Internet folks”

 

i'm going to reno this weekend, any food recommendations? i don't even know where to start. we found some vegan places we wanna try, but would love some suggestions

 

I feel like I never hear it brought up in pizza convos, but Papa Murphy's has the best veggie pizza of all the chains. I don't like the toppings on a typical veggie pizza cause it's just like onions and mushrooms and olives, but the Papa Murphy's one has tomato, zucchini, artichoke, spinach, etc like ACTUAL veggies.

 

Couldn’t go to my mom’s today because she went away but no fucking way am I cooking in this heat lmao

 

What kind is this

 

Margherita. Not a great one, but a pretty good one for the area I live in lol

 

pizza is always good

 

Papa Murphy’s is super underrated in my opinion.

 

Bad pizza is still pretty good at least, but great pizza is on such a different level

Started at Tony Boloneys for lunch.
Went to Docks for Happy Hour and was blown away. Tried all of the fried oysters (parm was amazing), about a dozen fresh oysters, deep fried olives and crab cakes. All were fantastic!
Hit up Buddakan for dinner and really enjoyed that too.

I'm so happy that you went and had a great time! I still need to try Buddakan myself. Which other fried oysters did you especially like?

 

When we got to Buddakan at 9 we were still a little full from happy hour lol. We ended up getting a few small plates and sharing. All were great! The pork belly and spicy rock shrimp bao buns were out of this world.

Id rank the fried oysters at Docks ....Parm > Buffalo > Wasabi > Plain. All were great though

 

I'm definitely going to Buddakan now. I need to try those buffalo oysters too.

Have you ever been to Chef Vola's? I've heard it's insanely good, but also impossible to get a reservation. Gordon Ramsay celebrated his birthday there last year:

I haven't but damn if Gordon went there for his birthday, it must be phenomenal. He looks like a little kid in that pic haha

favorite 4th of july recipes?? my cousin is bringing japchae and i might do some spicy korean inspired shrimp kebabs. but i'm also thinking wings might be good to grill too.

i didn't realize pulled pork was a 4th of july favorite until recently lol
