But seriously it’s so easy to watch Joe Biden interact with people/voters and compare to to Kerry. The differences are extremely glaring.

 

She had higher faves at this point in the primary than Biden does. smh.

 

Yeah one of them touches people and makes them uncomfortable af and says really stupid shit constantly.

 

Still the worst one.

 

Jason I know you don’t like him but that doesn’t mean other people don’t. We don’t find that shit charming but a lot of other people do! Mostly older than us, which also happens to be most of the voters.

 

His favorability with the electorate won't be above 48, and I'm willing to bet it's closer to 44, by the time the election comes. People will not find his shit charming.

Incredibly possible! But he’s still not the same type of candidate John Kerry is.

 

Really fucking bad? Yeah he is.

 

I know the circumstances are different, but Hillary had huge leads in the polls against Trump early on just like Biden. Then people realized she was out of touch and the general electorate liked Trump.

My opinion is there are a few big reasons Trump took the Midwest and other swing states
1. He was an outsider, railing against the establishment and corrupt Washington. Biden and Hillary both are the establishment
2. Trump proclaimed to be against the Iraq war and other foreign policy blunders. Obviously those were just words and he lied, but he still proclaimed that. Biden and Hillary were both for the war and pro-regime change.
3. Trump was against the free trade agreements and policies that outsourced and automated jobs in the rust belt. Biden and Hillary have both been pro-free trade in the past.

These things are imperative. The nominee against Trump needs to be all three of these things. Biden is none of them

the moderators they pick for these things are baffling
