I keep hearing (not literally of course) Tom in "Home Is Such A Lonely Place". Something about the vocals in that song more than the others just seem like a song Tom would sing in

I'm definitely replacing The Only Thing That Matters with Hey, I'm Sorry

Sober is on Apple Musics "Best of the Week" playlist

i cannot believe the amount of publications criticizing the album for being "too long". 42 minutes is too long? seriously? they're surely being misled by the amount of tracks? untitled and deluxe neighborhoods are way longer and no complaints were had.

Way too many woah-ohs and na-nas on this album.

Still haven't heard the album (I made it!), but wow, Hey I'm Sorry is great. I might just add it now, where would you guys place it in the tracklist? It doesn't really sound like a closing track

Not anyone who visits this site, but to the general public, I bet they don't even know Tom isn't on this record and don't have the slightest clue who Matt is.

Yea, that's kind of weird complaint and maybe that's just taking it at surface level. I mean, three of the tracks are fairly short.

But there's been other complaints by critics about their other albums' lengths. It's not like they've been a constantly praised band.

'Hey, I'm Sorry' would be incredible if it wasn't for those awful choruses. Woof.

Also, I love how Feldmann openly talks about the lack of signature guitar riffs on the record.

    Forgive me, Nashville

No Future is one of my favorites on the album. Sober is a complete piece of trash that they should have cut in place of the Japanese b-side.

Hot take: I don't think "Sober" or the B-side are very good. The album is fine though, "She's Out of Her Mind" and "No Future" are Blink at their finest.

I think anyone who buys this record knows but I can't wait for people that go to this tour because they used to love the band in high school and realize Tom isn't in it. It'll probably be a handful at every show

Vocalizing is a byproduct of being a trio and not having a lead guitarist. I hate repeating myself so much but there's a reason for this.

No surprise, Blink is #1 on the iTunes albums charts.

Exactly, although if you went to any Blink shows in the last 5 years, you could wonder who was the guy singing Tom's parts lol

Speaking of repetition, "Left Alone" is still the best song on the record.

It'll be interesting to track Alkaline Trio's sales over the next couple weeks.

I don't think I could cut anything. Even the joke songs and SOOHM - I love them all. :)

Right. It's essentially 14 tracks. I don't get the complaint.

Eh, I get it. By the time the album ends I'm ready for it to be over. I'd cut a couple songs that don't do it for me the same way much of the album does.

I love this album so much. This is a refreshing blink album and a refreshing pop punk album in general. Can't wait to see the new heights this band reaches over the next year.

The next radio single has to be She's Out of Her Mind. No question in my mind that this has pop sensibilities. It may be a tad fast BPM-wise but man, this is just too great of a melody and the a-a-a-anti social part will get stuck in everyone's head.
