Someone mashed up a bunch of Blink, AVA, +44 songs and made an 8 song EP and it's pretty decent! I'm enjoying it.

 

I've just casually skimmed through them but man that It Hurts chorus sounds amazing with heavier guitars behind it on "Alone with your best friend."

 

My heart says yes, my wallet is saying no.

Hoping pre-orders are early-July so I can put it on next month's credit card bill, ha.

 

I never go for the big packages or anything so I'm usually ok. I just get a vinyl or CD and call it a day.

 

True, I'm def. getting vinyl but sometimes the rarest variant is bundled with a shirt etc...you know how it goes.

On that note I'm hoping they might have some shirts I'll actually wear on this tour and album cycle.

 

Yup! They played I Miss You, Down and Wasting Time acoustically.

Whats going on with marks voice? Its been on a steady decline the last few years but jeez, hes so flat now. It sounds like he just euthanized his dog before hitting the stage. Like tom-level cringe at this point.

 

Yeah I always loved when they did that acoustic break, it was followed by a drum solo and then the last half of the greatest hits/new song set.

I actually would like if they played two old school songs like a Wasting Time and Waggy for example along with I Miss You instead of Down or even HISALP but hey baby steps haha.

 

BIOMY seems way bigger live than the actual recording.

Also, an EP would be awesome. An EP of all fast stuff? I’d be all in for that.

 

haha yeah, that's the real question... how are the shirts gonna look? if there's an awesome design coupled with a vinyl, I'll probably snag it.

 

Are we actually thinking we get an announcement of some sort today? I know the video is supposedly coming out still.

 

There's been no hint at an album announcement or anything, but I think we're all just crossing our fingers.

 

it's honestly just inexcusable at this point for a band of their size with that size of discography and having short songs to be playing 21 actual songs live.

i know that yesterday was a “secret” show, but the set isn’t going to get much longer when the actual tour starts.

if there was ever a time to break out a 30+ song setlist (not including the short joke songs) it’d be now. could help with the poor sales at least ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

It wasn't just a secret show – it was the dress rehearsal with full production in place. So it likely won't change at all.

 

Honestly, their strategy at this point is probably 'no one is coming to these shows anyway so fuck it'

 

Or...their strategy is "do what we want to do and if people don't like it whatever."

To say something is inexcusable is just weirdly entitled.

 

Hoping for 12pm EST, or 10am Pacific

 

playing a 70-75 minute set while having the majority of tickets priced over $100 seems inexcusable to me ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

judging by the sales, it seems as though i’m not alone.

 

....then don't go? I'm sorry but acting like they owe you a longer set because you paid money is just weird to me. Give me the ratio? What is the song/dollar-you-personally-spent that you deem fair? If you go get the $20 tickets now are they now entitled to only play for 35 minutes since you didn't spend a lot of money?

 

They could play for 2 hours and I'd probably still not spend that much on a ticket. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

 

Not saying they should, but every legacy act I’ve ever seen live has played a 2 hour or longer set.

if you don’t think that a band of their stature, with that size discography, with ticket prices so high shouldn’t be playing a longer set...well i don’t know what to tell you

 

There's a difference between thinking eh, that's not the show for me and thinking I deserve more because I'm special and paid money!
