I've only made it once but it wasn't that hard, just somewhat time consuming. The hardest part for me was getting a tight roll and I messed that part up kind of when I did it.

Unless you make your own puff pastry but only a crazy person would do that

 

my thoughts on beef wellington:

I love that they use filet. I like all ingredients of the dish including the pastry type bread, but idk how excited by bread wrapped beef I am. Id really like to try it again.

 

People say we're a childish and toxic bunch so I just want to make sure I am setting the record straight - we are educated and refined in our shitposting and I want the quality acknowledged.

I think it's one of those things that has to be executed near perfectly and if it is, it's astounding. If it's not executed to a really high level, it's hard for it to not seem like a disaster.
