I think I've done the Sam Adams tour 3 times. It's a small space, but I've enjoyed it. I don't have many other brewery experiences to compare it too, but I think you'll dig it.

I don't have kids, so I can't really help you there.

Only if you opt for premium parking, which I've heard isn't really worth it. Leaving the parking lot is always a nightmare, though.

 

Its been a while since i was at Great Woods. I guess - well, last year for Warped Tour. We left early though, during SWS rain drenching set.

 

Pretty sure bartenders can ID people by just asking the name of the Venue in Mansfield. Anyone who calls it Great Woods or Tweeter Center gets a pass.

 

I had a very brief career as a bartender there a few summers ago. Had some perks- I got to hear Radiohead from the beer stand, haha. DMB shows were the absolute worst to work. People tried to sneak into the shows by hopping over the fences near the bar stands. We had buckets of ice water to throw over when they tried to hop over.

 

Yellowcard farewell tour tickets just went on sale about 30 minutes ago. Just got mine. November 7th at HOB.

Not Boston, but a friend and I went to see Andrew McMahon play a headlining show in Providence last night at Fete Music Hall. Venue/show was great. Andrew was eating at the same restaurant as us, too, haha. He was with his wife and daughter, so we didn't go over to say hi or anything. Other fans didn't show the same restraint.

 

just so you all know, Trump will be in the city today for fundraising, so avoid the financial district if you don't want to be part of the shitshow

 

Friend just told me they can't make it to the Weezer show Friday... If I can't find anyone to take the ticket, I'm probably out, too.

 

Lemme know if you have to bail. Me and a friend might snag those tickets from you

 

I saw Patrick Wilson from Weezer on Boylston Street the other day. Didn't approach him though.

Did I then wander around looking for Rivers? Yes. Yes I did.

One time I saw Adam from Taking Back Sunday hanging out in Boston before they played a free outdoor show at Gov Center. We tried to make small talk but he seemed like he was trying to stay low-key

 

I am really looking forward to the Panic show tomorrow. I'm not a huge Weezer fan, but It will be cool to see them too. And who doesn't love Andrew? he's the fucking man!
