Haha you could be right, I did have a 3 year old running around yelling in the background so it didn’t help. I need to listen to this again then the Enema version back to back.

Ok cool. I know my question sounds dumb but they had retired Adams song for a really good reason and party song being what it is might not play well in 2019.

 

The two main things I've noticed playing them back to back is on the Pie version Tom's vocals aren't doubled in the verses and there's no repetition of the "she's open waiting for more" parts the second time around like there is on the album. The whole thing sound a little bit "muddier" too and less clear. It's almost like a well polished demo version.

Also not to drag out the troll thing but maybe just as a general thing am I the only one who doesn't pay attention to usernames and just takes every post as it is like a sucker? Haha.

 

They played Adam's Song quite a few times now, sounds nice with Skiba doing the background vocals in the chorus too, which Tom never did as far as I know

 

Part of the muddiness is most likely due to it being a low quality YouTube video. I’be got a higher quality version in the pipeline though that I’ll share in here.

 

Yeah on 2nd listen the vocals do sound “off” and not as clean/clear. I was thinking maybe it was because the soundtrack might have been released before Enema was but that’s not the case. Could be the band turned in this version and then cleaned it up a bit for the Enema release.

 

They brought it back during the Vegas residency last year! You’re golden man!

 

Terrible "muddy" mixes are the trademark of my half-assed bedroom recordings so I'm kinda into it anyway haha.

 

I think I’m gonna go to the Camden show and see this enema of the state thing. Maybe there will be a new record by then, who knows!

I thought that his reviews where kind of nuanced. It’s not like he trashed every song. Not saying I agree (tbh I really don’t) but I’m getting sick and tired of this ”better than thou” bullshit in this thread. Whether it’s got to do with reddit, BIOMY’s chart positions (I like the song, but I’m getting the feeling that some people in this thread are trying to make it seem more successful that it is, for whatever reason) or the so called ”trolls”. I’d seriously rather read aliens exist’s post than most of the ones from people complaining about him. You’re the one’s making this thread a shithole
