How can there be Matt heavy songs when he’s out of the band?

 

He obviously means Matt as in M. Shadows. Already replaced him

 

I'd love M. Shadows to be in Blink. Finally they could change their sound up a bit.

Plus I want to hear M. Shadows sing all the na na's.

 

Quite simple really. When you correlate the “182” to each member, you start to break down the literal “ins and outs” of this band.

The “1” - referring to Mark Hoppus. The guiding light. He will never leave. He’s one standing strong and will always be there. He’s never left so that leaves the number as 1.

The “8” - Tom/Matt/Future - The amount of times Tom/Matt will be in and out of blink. Matt is back in as of yesterday, which I think brings up our total to 4 “ins” of the prohesized 8.

The “2” - Scott/Travis - The drummer position was always meant to end with Travis. Prophesized long ago, and explained in the Psalm “Man Overboard”, a powerful drummer would come to take the position of Scott. The second drummer being the mainstay, this number stays at 2.

 

Matt LeBlanc, you mean.

Album won't be out until September at the very least:

 

September is fine to me!

 

They should release an EP if that’s the case.

 

Another song or two should hold everyone over until September !

 

Sorry blink-182 but September is Charli XCX’s month

 

I'm seeing blink-182 on September 13 -- the same day Charli's album comes out. Not sure I'll be able to handle it all.

 

I can wait for September. Really I can. Yeah.

Not blink related at all, but with all these album anniversaries making me feel old as fuck, this story is the cherry on top. A kid and i were both waiting for the elevator and when we got in he refers to me as sir when asking what floor I needed. While in the elevator he asks me how old i am. I tell him 28 and he tells me he’s 7 and he tells me about his day at the beach and then asks me what year I was born in and I tell him 1991 and he looks shocked and goes “wow... I was born in 2012” . And I’m thinking to myself “wow, I’ve been trying to get my life back together longer than he’s been alive”

I'm only 5 years older than you but anyone born from the 90s onwards fills me with an ancient rage!

 

I was born 1990, so naturally i always calculate from that to 2000. I can't help it. If someone tells me he was born in 1998, my first thought always is "so he is 2".
