I’m at an Ataris show right now and it’s making me feel really nostalgic. And I’m under the influence of alcohol.

It’s so cool that Mark sung on their song “That Special Girl.”

I love Blink.

I love The Ataris.

I wouldn’t be doing music today if it wasn’t for both of those bands. Heart emoji.

 

Now imagine being in 7th grade, around a year or two after Enema came out - you tell your cousin you like Blink 182 and then she burns a copy of End is Forever and New Found Glory S/T for you. Had never heard of either band up until that point.

From there I just started finding all of the bands that would become my all time favorites. Mostly through just hanging with my friends and watching skate videos.

Yeah I wish I still had the third disk she burned for me - that was your classic Limewire mix of Blink, MxPx, Something Corporate, etc.
