from a bit of googling, sounds like they "skipped to focus on hitting development milestones" but its definitely not a good look when a game you release a hype cinematic trailer for is no where to be found two years later. seems like best case scenario at this point is probably it being a new gen title that gets released early 2021.

I’m not surprised one bit about the lack of games and pushed back release dates. If I was a developer I would much rather get my game out on a console that is much more powerful and would push it to its full potential. I personally will be happy to take what we can get over the next year and especially with Games Pass becoming the juggernaut that it is.

I think I like this. Kinda lets players decide if they really want to deal with permadeath or not. But I think having some missions where surrender isn't an option would probably work well just so you can have those extra stakes.

I'm also wondering how easy it'll be to recruit custom characters. On the one hand, it kinda breaks some of the point if you can just go in and design a new character in part of some character creation tool. But on the other, if I wanna do the whole "play the game with a bunch of grannies" thing it could become annoying to find just the right character to recruit.

 

So can I get some bulletpoints for Ubi conference? I just got home. Did they announce Splinter Cell??

The fact that they’ve been avoiding talking about it, and the Direct is only 40 minutes, leads me to believe Animal Crossing won’t be mentioned tomorrow and it will get its own direct later this year because it’s not coming until 2020 now.

 

To all those that upgraded to the Ultimate Games Pass and are going to play some of the games on PC, there is a hidden update in order to do so. Go to your settings on whatever device you are using to run it and there should be an update there.

 

Lolllll that God’s & Monsters game is coming out in Feb, AND THATS ALL THEY SHOWED OF IT!?

Pretty disappointing conference. Watch Dogs looked awesome and it was all downhill from there for me. Hoped we see something more from Gods and Monsters, that was a pretty nothing teaser. Really indicates to me that they're all hands on deck for next gen now--making that rumored Vikings AC, BG&E2, most likely a Splinter Cell game, etc.
