@wrecked Homeboy, your DM's aren't open, otherwise I wouldn't do this so publicly, but it's not that everyone here is a Tom-hater, and not everyone here is trying to gatekeep classic blink fans out of this community.

It was a steep learning curve for me, especially cause r/blink182 is just "Unpopular opinion" threads over and over again, and those discussions thrive on controversy. Chorus isn't like that.

We've already had the Tom vs. Matt discussion over and over again, we've already had the "selling out" discussion over and over. And everytime we do that it devolves into chaos. You're entitled to your opinion, but don't just say edgy shit about how Cali sucks cause you just wanna vent. Be constructive, and everyone will respect what you have to say, instead of being like "I GuEsS YoU'rE NoT A REALLLL bLiNk fAn" because that just starts it over again.

I love Tom and was devastated when he left. I thought the Lil Wayne tour was a dumb idea. But it's what we got, and honestly it ain't half bad, and if you're just gonna come in here and complain about modern blink, instead of celebrating the things about blink you like, you're not expressing your opinion. You're just making people mad.

Little drunk and just wanna say I’d be fucking stoked and at the first show if Tom ever came back no matter where it was.... but:
- it ain’t gonna happen
- I love Skiba and love how much better the band sounds now
- I’d make fun and talk so much shit about how bad Tom is now

But fuck.. it would be fun. I was at their last show together in Vegas at Wine Amplified and they sounded so *good.

Since the band’s not doing it anytime soon... I made my own “deluxe albums” for Cheshire Cat, Dude Ranch, EOTS, and TOYPAJ that include demos, b-sides, etc. Does anyone else ever do this nerdy shit? Haha.

i haven't listened to dogs eating dogs since january 2013 so here's the track-by-track review that you were all waiting on the edge of your seats to read:

when i was young: lmao tom's songwriting hasn't changed one bit since releasing we don't need to whisper in 2006. i genuinely want someone who likes this song to quote me and tell me that it doesn't sound like an angels and airwaves b-side. not good

dogs eating dogs: you can tell who wrote each of these songs from the first note and that's one of the biggest problems with this and neighborhoods. there's a complete lack of any sense of cohesion. it also doesn't help that tom's songs are bad and fun to laugh at while mark's songs are just... there

disaster: i've been listening to this track for almost 2 and a half minutes now and i don't remember a single thing about it other than tom (who was 37 when it was released) singing about being 18

boxing day: i liked this song when it was released which is funny because listening to it now i could swear that this was my first time hearing it.

pretty little girl: hahhahah oh god, remember yelawolf? jesus. what the fuck was that? anyway, on tom's first song on this ep he talked about being young, on his second song he wrote about being 18, and on this one he sings about being 19. this song is also called "pretty little girl". is there anything more unintentionally depressing than a 37 year old who refuses to grow up?

i liked 0 out of 5 songs on here. i give it 0 stars out of 10. while i think some of the songs on the deluxe edition of califonia are better than the songs on here, i would rank dogs eating dogs higher based on brevity alone
