This LP blows +44 out of the water. With all the respect, but...

Also, I am a big Tom fan hahahah, I love the man, and I was prepared to shit on this record. But... It is what it is — catchy summer pop music, with fucking HOOOOKS. Also, Skiba's chorus on Cynical... My god, this is pure awesomeness. And I love that this LP has some... some kind of the one vibe through all songs. It has concept, i.e. I love that all (correct me if Im wrong) singles have "ooohs" part at the end... I love na-nas, of course. :)

To put it short, this record really feels as a RECORD, not bunch of songs thrown together, if u know what I mean.

 

Sober is pretty good on first listen. Definitely see how people say the chorus could fit in some pop-country song but they make it work for them. If it actually sounded like pop-country I'd despise it lol.

I like Los Angeles quite a bit. The "experimental for blink" song but much better than "Fighting The Gravity" on Neighborhoods. See the Linkin Park comparison but it doesn't feel as sterile as LP has for years.

Home definitely nails me right in the feels. Love that song.

Also "Built This Pool" kinda made me laugh after "Sober." Like Mark got wasted and built a pool haha.

Crazy how there's no definitive favorite song everyone seems to love. Everyone seems to vary on what they think is the best two or three songs and that's kind of cool

 

Man I just got to hear the record. So fucking good. Some good fuckin pop punk in there too. My favorite is probably San Diego. It just hit home to me. Los Angeles was pretty sick too.

 

That's how you know it's a good album lol. I haven't heard it yet though

WOW!!! This is great. Great because of Skiba's vocal delivery.

 

Kings of the Weekend and Teenage Satellites are so fun. San Diego is my instant favorite of the album. Goddamn.

The Only Thing That Matters is so vintage blink haha.

 

Teenage Satellites has grown on me so much. When the first verse hits, it gives me a very nostalgic feel. But not in the typical Blink fashion. Just sounds fresh. It honestly might be the song I've listened to the most.

 

Yesss, loving the San Diego love in here.

 

I love Mark's backing vocals a lot on that song.

 

So I know a couple of people have started getting their bundles in. Anyone get the VIP concert tickets? I'm assuming if someone got the bass they would have spilt the beans already
