I think the "crossover" billing backfired on them unfortunately.

I just scanned the comments on their new FB post about this tour and still see all negativity, haha.

Maybe Wayne should invite Tom to the tour to sell more tickets

At this point it seems like Nautica would’ve been a more appropriate Cleveland venue for them.

Just looked at the pavilion seats available for the Blossom show :speakno:

Just checked San Diego again and yeah most seats are empty. They should probably downsize venues from here on out

I honestly considered it today but the pavilion pricing is insane!

  12. Mark's going to be bringing the bass that he recorded Enema with on tour. That's kinda kewl.

Seems like they thought Lil Wayne was big enough they could charge twice as much for tickets and it's not working out that way. Will be super weird if they play to a half empty arena. Is there any precedent for this? They just give away "free" tickets to radio stations or something?

Speaking of radio, I know it's just my local station but they played the SHIT out of Bored to Death when it dropped and I haven't heard BIOMY on there once.

I'd go in a heartbeat if this was at Nautica.

Nothing will be strong enough to lift my Blossom Ban.

Yeah normally for tours that sell this poorly they just shut down the lawn and move everyone from lawn down to seats

My guess is a week or so before the shows, ticket prices will come down.

I really hope not. How is that fair to the big fans (like me) who already bought tickets?

Your radio dropping the ball then. @Jason Tate what were those radio charts again?

It's happened to me before. Years ago when Kanye came to The Q in Cleveland I spent a fortune on shitty tickets...the show sold very poorly and a few days before the show they cut prices in half. I called to see if I could just simply swap my tickets for lower level tickets and they wouldn't let me. They did however allow me to cancel my original order and buy new tickets. Ended up buying lower level tickets for half of what I originally paid.

I mean they did 22k in Hartford in 2016 I believe. The bill isn't the problem, Wayne is twice as big as them on Spotify for one measure, straight up charged too much.

  22. And yet it's doing really well on the radio and streaming only a few weeks after it was released despite your local station sucking.

They could do those smaller Live Nation venues (the 6-10,000 capacity ones), but would Blink ever stoop down to that? I imagine that would be a blow to their "ego" aka them thinking they are still incredibly popular enough to play large amphitheaters.

Or if ticket sales are still terrible they could do big ballrooms and theaters.

  24. (And I'd bet lots of people will probably buy tickets last minute. Prices for this size of venue were definitely too high.)

  25. I've heard it on our station 2 or 3. Granted, the only time I listen to the radio is when my lady is in charge of the stereo in the car.
