He didn't talk to them after his horrible outfield game and they got very mad and won't stop talking about it.

That's how I felt pretty immediately, but I've never really liked the all the "interviews" after most sports. Tempers are hot, people are upset, and your best case scenario is you get stupid platitudes.

I saw one writer make some "Jeter would never! He would be accountable after a shit game!" and all I could think about was "yeah, but those interviewers were worthlesssss! No good information was gleaned from that."

Sorry, it's just all I've seen on Yankee twitter/commentary with the day off and it's been so damn annoying.

And also Clint's been a disaster in the field. But it's not like doesn't know that hahah, or that he's not trying.

 

I also can't blame Clint if he holds any deep rooted grudge against the media since they made a gigantic deal over his hair his first spring even though it was within Yankee guidelines.

You'd think they were emo kids and Gerard Way had just shaved his head

Not to mention the made up story that he wanted to wear #7 that year too


He didn't handle this situation the best obviously but that didn't bother me. I just want him to figure out how to play defense again lol. I do know they aren't in first without what his bat's done

 

Still not a many innings, but Corbin Burns is one of the most frustrating pitchers I've ever watched. He can dominate at times and then you have games like this where...yeah....

I was watching the game earlier with my Dad and we made the comment “he’s due for another HR. It’s been awhile.” I legit couldn’t decide if we were joking or serious.

 

God, this Clint Frazier thing is close to turning me against the Yankees brass and the NY Media as a whole. It's absolutely maddening to watch this guy get baited in and out by them and be the focal point of BS stories. It started with this hair and it continues now. Yes he should've spoken to them after the game yesterday, but this is becoming a joke now.

Most of my life I've heard about players not being "made for New York". But what I've realized now is that it's New York that needs to change. Just let the guy be himself. Sheesh.
