Fair point. I retract my last statement.

 

I hope the announcement tomorrow is that we had the new album this whole time and then we find it's just sitting there on all of our desks/tables.

 

Now that they're on good terms with Tom they had him have a government contact help implant the album wirelessly directly into a part of our brains that we can't access until someone pushes a button. It's in our heads already

Tom loves U2 and wanted to one-up their scheme to put it on everyone's phones

 

That’d be nuts. The government would start charging us for data storage in our brains.

Would be great to get a surprise album ala No It Isn’t being released on Tom’s bday many moons ago.

I don’t even think the album will be out until August the earliest lol.

 

Mark said last night a new Simple Creatures song would be released before Download Festival on June 15th.

Blink waited almost a month and a half to release Rabbit Hole so I don’t think it’s a big deal we haven’t gotten a 2nd song yet.

 

This whole album taking forever had me excited at first, now I’m starting to get a bit nervous

 

How is it taking forever?

 

So when blink seemingly “rushes” out an album because they wrote songs in 15 minutes people freak out and now that they haven’t announced an album yet people are freaking out because it’s taking too long. I wonder what the happy medium is for everyone to keep calm.

 

A customized album for each fan – not too nostalgic but not pushing their sound forward too much either – exactly when that fan wants it, no sooner and no later.

 

Release a song a month until the end of time forever and ever amen

 

Remember when album rollouts were like half a year haha

It’s a good thing they’re taking time imo

 

California came out only 3 years ago, with Deluxe coming out a year later. BIOMY came out only 3 weeks ago. That's not what I call taking forever.

When I think about an album that took forever to come out, my mind goes to MANIA by Fall Out Boy which came out 9 months after the first single. Actually I thought it was longer than that.

I could be wrong but I swore they started recording before the Vegas shows last summer

I just wish blink could shut their mouths instead of needlessly stirring the hype pot whenever they felt bored. It's felt like they've been posting Instagram stories from the studio for YEARS, yet they always sound like they're falling more and more behimd schedule whenever they speak in public.
