As great as the new album is, I'm really looking forward to whenever that ep comes out. Keep the new Blink songs coming!

I laughed. A lot more than I should have.

  4. I think the best thing about this is the fact more people and the mainstream are going to find out about a great artist in Matt. The dude deserves it.

It really feels with this new excitement and rejuvenation in the band that they could.

  7. And I think the best part about it is he doesn't come off as rock star.

  8. Maybe I'm wrong but I think we can almost guarantee that " The Only Thing That Matters " will make it in the set list.

Lol and I think he got the lyrics wrong. I skimmed through, all he kept brining up is how Matt was trying to be like Tom. Painful read, my eyes hurt

Yeah, I've read a few reviews that say some similar cliche things, oh well, can't please them all. It does appear everyone is speaking highly of the album though.

Yea, that first review seemed very misinformed. He also said that "Rabbit Hole" was an embarrassment to the band and music in general....talk about exaggerating.

He did say at the end he was coming around on Skiba, who he never really heard before (I'm not sure how he hasn't, but okay) and that he was talented and is looking forward to seeing what he can do moving forward. I think that just shows even the biggest Tom fans can give props to Matt.

Including the streaming, I'm gonna guess this does 125k.

If it does that, it should be just enough to debut at #1 - here's hoping!

They were definitely coached to give short answers for that interview - not their fault. For Live TV spots they had a window of time and the host wanted to get all of his questions across.

Neighborhoods opened with 151K, so I'd kind of like to see it outpace that

It won't do Neighborhood numbers in 2016 but I REALLY hope it gets number 1.

I was thinking it does have the ability to do so, right? They're doing quite a bit of press this week, TV appearances, 182 day, new singer, number 1 alt single - it seems there's enough there to push to that point.

Seeing as how they count streaming now (I don't think they did when Neighborhoods came out?) I hope it can. What this album has going for it from what people are saying (still haven't heard most of it) this album has way more potential long term single-wise than Neighborhoods did.
