  1. I also find 6 to be underrated

I own the box set and I've never gotten around to seeing the directors cut

I’ll only watch the Producers Cut of 6. That film is baaaaaaaaaaad (but not as bad as 5)

6 is the only one I haven't seen more than once. It was so bad and boring. Might have rewatch since I own it lol.

  5. I know we do this every few months, but I think 5 (and Zombie's H2) are the only two I could see myself potentially never revisiting. 5 gets a pass only because I want my series runthroughs to feel complete

I don't like Resurrection at all. It's just bad and not fun and annoying. 6 and 5 are enjoyable though, despite the fact that I also know they're not very good at all

H2 is the only movie that's ever actively pissed me off though. What a total piece of garbage

The more I think about it, the more I think a believable sequel wouldn't be plausible. Wouldn't Michael just go into hiding? Possibly die from infection on that hand?

Unless they do what Carpenter originally did and Michael shows up at the hospital.

I'd be down for an Ari Aster or Jordan Peele directed Halloween

Yeah after Us, i'm willing to take the ride with Peele on a franchise. Candyman or this. I could see him doing something amazing with A Nightmare On Elm Street but that's a hot take maybe.

Man, this film really hasn’t held up since its release.

I’ve been doing a run through the series this week, and Halloween ‘18 is just such a missed opportunity, and really just a mess/letdown.

    Current ranking:

    Halloween 1978
Halloween III: Season of the Witch
    Halloween II (‘81)
    Halloween IV
    Halloween 2007
    H20
    Halloween V
    Halloween VI
    Halloween 2018

    Halloween: Resurrection
    Halloween II 2009

I’d rather watch Resurrection than the zombie films...that’s about it

I'd pick it over H2 but I would still rather watch anything else from the series haha

Also Zombies first is infinitely better than Ressurection

I think I find number 5 to be the worst. My negatives could go on forever. The story, the dialogue, the mask, the kills. Loomis smacking Michael with a wood plank and the sound effect is prob my favorite part. And then he pins him for the 1 2 3 win.

Worst film will always be Zombie's Halloween 2
