Depending on what legal documents were drafted during the devoice I wouldn't be surprised if some of your money (and everyone else's) from the album or at least the tour will still be going to Tom.

I seriously doubt he'd let Mark and Travis play a single second of their songs live at this point without Tom getting some form of royalties from the band and name.

I think this is the blink record Mark and Travis wanted to make since TOYPAJ. And that was probably my favorite era of blink (Maybe Enema...Hard to decide!). I remember my friend showing me the TOYPAJ paperback cd and listening to it. Great memories. Most of these California songs bring me back to that era.

 

I've listened to the album so much since it leaked. I'm going to try really hard not to listen again until release day.

 

That chorus is just so good and catchy.

 

Can't believe people finally got a new album and are still obsessed with talking about Tom.

 

Look like Blink will be on Colbert on Friday night.

 

I'm liking what I hear so far.

I wish they would have made the production on the guitars better imo.

My wife and I are expecting our first in about 5 weeks - we realized he was conceived the weekend we went to Chicago to see the NFG/Yellowcard tour over the fall - I couldn't be more happy to tell him that when he's older haha

 

I know this head way too well. I don't think the guitars sounds like it was through one. Garbage head though.

 

lol i bought this head when I was 15 because I wanted a HALF STACK lol . I wanted it to be LOUD. lol the joys of learning from your mistakes. I do think the guitars on the record sound like it was through this head though. They don't have cut through the mix nicely imo

 

Good album, I'm actually surprised how good it is. And especially how good is Skiba – I've been a fan since Goddamnit, I fucking know all the riffs and drum fills from 98 till 03 alk3 albums, and it was painful to hear his latest solo/whatever attempts. But thank God, not on this album – or maybe thank Feldy... anyway! Guys can deliver. Still miss Tom, moreover I'm scared for his mental health. Taking into account this album has got only positive reviews both from critics (which is really unexpected) and fans so far... Tom can go down the really dark road. :(

 

Anyone who did the pre-order early enough for the signed drumhead get a shipping confirmation yet?

I literally ordered my shit like minutes after it went live and haven't gotten an email? Maybe its the signed drumhead thats taking longer, or maybe, just maybe....I won the fucking bass!

Even if I didn't win it - I just hope a loyal fan on this thread does. That will still make me happy, but kind of bitter as well.
