    I wanted to upgrade all those mics anyway.

    Rode NT-1A —> AKG C414-B
    (Vocals, piano, acoustic guitar)

    Sennheiser e609 —> Sennheiser e906
    (Elec guitar amps, high tom drums)

    Shure Unidyne B —> Shure SM57
    (Snare drum, also a decent backup mic for live vocals or for amps)

    Sennheiser e604 —> Sennheiser MD421
    (low tom drums)

    Shure PG52 —> I already have the better AKG D112 also
    (kick drum, bass amps)


    Eventually also want a pair of Rode NT-5’s for cymbals / also good as ambient room mics for atmosphere & echo
