Cynical sounds a lot like no use for a name.. Fuck do I miss that band, saw a tribute band at amnesia rockfest and they did the band solid justice.. It was great to hear their songs live again. I got really emotional during not your savior, I always thought that they should have been bigger than they were

I'm really happy with the track, "California." I wasn't sure what to think of it at first, but it's really coming into its own. I can't get the melody out of my head.

UH has some of my favorite Sum 41 songs on it.

You still haven't heard anything from it yet? Could you reach out to Deryck? Maybe do an interview or something?

Home Grown was like, the epitome of a blink-182 ripoff, but in 2002, I didn't give a shit b/c fact is, KOP was a super fun listen.

I haven't heard one song off that album is years. I think it's still in my music library. I briefly enjoyed John's other band Red Panda, too.

No :-/ I really should though, for the artwork alone!

They did an extra 500, so grab one! Just bought mine last night, and they have been up for several days. the inserts are signed by the band, and you get an album of demos on vinyl called Precomposer as well, plus digitally.

You've peaked my interest! Doing it now! I actually think this slipped my mind. I tend to pay close attention to reissues of my favorite records. This one went right over my head!

Fun fact: I downloaded California on hospital wifi before my daughter was born on Friday.

Came to say the same thing. It took me a few listens for it to sink in but it has become my favorite song on the record despite being irrationally annoyed at how he pronounces Califor-nee-ya. Haha that really bugged me on the first few listens but the catchyness of the verses outweighed that little bug.

I love stories like this, especially when someone associates music w/ someone else's life.

For example: my parents met at a Scorpions concert where Iron Maiden was the opener. If not for that '82 tour, I wouldn't be here! Not that it's the same with YOUR child, but it's a fun anecdote to tell your child down the line haha

I paid for some awful iphone app so I could download the files from Dropbox on my hostel's slow wifi. Worth it.
