I hope they choose to get rid of Dak though just because it'd be funny to see every 7-11 in DFW have to throw out giant cardboard cutouts of Dak on the same day

This is also a really good one. Edelman's best plays were blown coverage. Take Edelman out and Hogan or Dorsett does that. Take Michel/Gilmore out and they lose.

 

He put Talib on skates like 5 or 6 times lol. Edelman had a very good game, but that game was decided by the defense and if we're gonna pretend that you need 16 interceptions to win SB MVP then it should have gone to Sony at least.

 

Idk if I’d pay Edelman that much but it’s not my money

 

I don't think it's a bad deal. Makes your two most important offensive players happy, and it's short so it's not like if it's bad money it's bad long money.

 

Rather put it towards the younger guys personally

 

Yeah I don't see a problem with the deal, maybe not like a deal you get excited about but there's no real issue with it IMO

 

Eh...the only names coming up for extensions i'm really banging the table for are Joe Thuney, Kyle Van Noy and James Develin.

Not a lot of huge deals in the future. Def not like the Cowboys or the Jags were ALL your big names are coming up.

 

If anything I think it's smart on the Patriots part.
