Blasting this on a road trip a few times really sealed the deal for me.

 

13 whole new tracks and my biggest carly revelation this week is how much of an actual bop party for one is.

 

Right? Same exact thing happened to me.

Bop Party is the new official term for a Carly Rae Jepsen show

 

My only critique of the album is that, if Carly had actually named it Music To Clean Your House To, it might've gotten me to do the cleaning in my room that I've been putting off for literal months.

Anyone know what's up with the Harry Nilsson writing credit on "Everything He Needs"? I'm assuming it's maybe a sample?

I was having a bad day then I started listening to this and I was suddenly having a good day

 

This was tough because I feel super strongly about the first half so placing them in the right order was a challenge, there are smaller margins separating them and my mood could probably change daily at this point. I was ranking them as I went through listening to the album and eventually it got to the point where I had to just say "these are going to be my top 3" and then rank down from there because I just kept being like "ohh this is my new favorite" lol. I think Now That I Found You may be struggling from my recency bias on the two above it because I played it 100x when it came out.

I am even second guessing myself the more I sit here and think about it so I'm just gonna post it. It kind of reiterated how stacked this album is when bops like Happy Not Knowing are at the 6th spot.
