That is so bad I can almost see it fitting right in.

Also let’s just talk about the horse again, I’m tired of thinking about Bronn.

Sure, it could be a reach but I think Varys being one of the most skilled master of whispers this world has ever seen would all the sudden turn into a complete dummy and openly talk about treason to overthrow and/or kill the queen to the man who is in love with her! Hahaha

And I could see Bronn having the hubris to do something similar to at least Tyrion, seeing as they have at least a semblance of friendship between the two of them, even then it's not all that dependable anyways.

While we're talking fan fic, it would have been cool if Dany's descent was developed onscreen and instead of Jon being able to do away with her threat with ease the next season was the kingdoms being forced to deal with her as a ruthless conquerer. I would have liked to have seen her go after the iron bank for backing Cersei, maybe Tyrion hires the faceless men, ah the possibilities they could have rushed through

On top of reaching you’re also completely erasing Varys’ entire backstory here lol. The whole reason he’s even in that situation is because he was the one who helped Dany and Viserys escape Westeros, and he was the one who convinced Tyrion to go to her. Bronn makes no sense in that role

I'm not erasing Varys' history at all. I'm literally saying that he's shown over these past 7 seasons that he has some of the best insight and foresight of anyone in the series but this season they throw that out of the window and turn him into one of the dumbest people in the show and then burn him alive. It didn't line up with how his character has been this whole time.

You’re erasing his history in that imagining Bronn in that position to begin with makes no sense. It only makes sense for Varys. And your imagined scenario of Bronn betraying Dany is just as inconsistent with Bronn’s character as anything they did with Varys.

Bronn for 8 seasons and beyond: “I only look out for number one. In my second-to-last scene I was more than willing to murder the only character I was truly friends with in order to advance my own self interests.”

Bronn in this hypo: “Look Tyrion, I know I’ve been totally fine with working under multiple sociopathic, murderous rulers before, but this dragon lady draws the line, so I’m gonna stick my neck out on behalf of the common folk here.”

You're deliberately ignoring when I said that it would be for self-preservation. Pretty much every other ruler he's been fine with pays him to do evil shit and/or leaves him alone when he's not needed. Dany enters the picture with a dragon who's capable and willing to scorch hundreds or thousands of innocent people in order to rule and expresses that she's going to continue doing that. Especially when he wants his own place somewhere and clearly she's going to eventually come to his doorstep with said dragon and blow him away if he doesn't kneel.

I think saying it's too far of a stretch for someone who is only concerned with his own self preservation to even mention to someone he's known personally for years who is that rulers' hand that he needs to step in or should do something is pretty unbelievable.

Bronn stayed true to himself throughout.

But they could have done without his scenes this season and just had it show up at the small council and it wouldn’t have changed anything. We didn’t need the whole I’m coming for the Lannister brothers thing

Well apparently she had to actually kill everyone first and then the world will be liberated and she would rule it justly. Someone should have asked exactly what she meant by "liberate" or breaking the wheel a while ago, but in everyone's defense her definition is way off from the general understanding of the term
