Have been waiting for the Argies to pipe up about the Falklands.

I think Areanal, Spurs or Liverpool would suit him best out of the PL teams as all of them are willing to work with young players.

If he went to city, utd or Chelsea I fear he'd not get enough time to bed in. Arsenal would prob be best though as it'd be great to see them with a good striker for a change.

That's a very "Liverpool" signing though.

in a new reality where watford are rejecting 30 million for troy deeney i cant find it in me to feel too outraged by that price for someone who just turned 24 and has been roughly a double digit goal and assist guy over the past two seasons. his age, production, and (in)consistency are comparable to coutinho, who i'd only sell well north of that. it'll prolly end up close to a wash with the money we get back for benteke.

in terms of how he fits in, he'll add pace to an attack that has almost none outside of origi. coutinho, firmino, and lallana are all good at winning the ball back, but that's only half the battle in klopp's philosophy. none of them are quick enough to spearhead a counter or threaten to get behind a defense.

I like the signing, fwiw. He's going for more or less market price, specifically between two English clubs. He'll bring an element of directness and end product Liverpool have been missing.

Italy look great. This is a very conflicting fixture for me.

I've been listening to the game so far on the radio while driving home from work. As soon as I turned my TV instant Goal :-)

Del Bosque would be wise to put Pedro on for Nolito at half.

I quite like this Italian side, they lost a lot of the players I used to dislike over the last few years. This teams got a great fighting spirit.

After what he said? And how badly he's played? I sure hope not. He should put Lucas Vazquez.

Also Giaccherini has been one of my favourite players this tournament purely because when the presenters pronounce his name I imagine it being spelt Jackarini which seems like an English person trying to make their name sound Italian.

Pedro should be absolutely nowhere near the team. Tho for real Nolito is a hit crap.

He's played the most with this team and has the most experience breaking down tough defenses.

I don't think that's a reason to put him on. He's had an awful season and he has a terrible attitude.

I've seen a lot of reports today saying all the Argentine players "retiring" is to force a mass exodus in the Federation's leadership. Hoping this is the case more than emotional reactions.

How the hell was that not a foul by Pique?

Should have been a yellow for Pique

Pique is a wanker. He was protesting his innocence before he finished fouling Eder. That takes skill.

That David Silva tackle looked BAD in slow motion. Didn't see it full speed tho
