We reach for the longest shadow

sounds cool enough to me. I havent really dug an album since vol. 3 though.

Same, but I'm all about the singles, for the most part. I hate Psychosocial.

So I guess "All Out Life" is the first non-album single they've had.

Release My Mind, My Garden Grows

Here as fuck for it. Can't wait to hear the new track after work. Also funny they didn't include All Out Life on the record.

    (:

This is so much better than the first song they released.

Haven't had a chance to hear the new song yet, but this comment gives me hope.

Also, fucking love that photo of Matt you use.

I will say, I'm definitely liking this cover a lot more than .5.

    Reminds me of Sulfur.

    "I'll chew on a dog!"

I was tying to think of why this chorus melody sounded familiar and you nailed it.

Also I just realised All Out Life not appearing means the album is named after a lyric from a song that isn't appearing on the album.

I really like the song on a second listen but I must say I find the high-pitched choir slightly distracting.

this is my favorite slipknot single in ages

I like this a lot more on subsequent listens. Listening with the video for the first time took me out of the song.

Meh, song was ok. Just sounds like another standard Slipknot single.

I like the new song but I think it’s an incredibly safe single that sounds more like Stone Sour than Slipknot.

Yeah, I think it's time for new Slipknot. Excited for this.

Yea I'm not the craziest about the song, definitely not the Iowa vibe I think they said they were hyping up but I don't dislike it so whatever.

Also was wondering how the new masks were gonna work out, not a huge fan of Cory's EXCEPT for his hair, I think his hair weirdly makes it work.

  21. The album cover is awful, again.

The new song was reminiscent of early Slipknot but ultimately falls short (to me). But based on that, the album has potential.

  22. I like the artwork. Song goes in, too. Here for it.

Something I didn't see mentioned is the producer is Greg Fidelman, who also produced The Gray Chapter and Metallica's most recent album - a very good choice in my view.

  24. I mean the band's first singles historically have followed this same model so it's nothing new - I think the album will still rip
