I think they’ve “earned” the benefit of the doubt on a Star Wars product even if you don’t like how they ended thrones.

 

Oh absolutely. Changing 8 by itself would not fix the biggest issues, you have to go way back in the process.

 

lol love to assume a movie will be bad bc a storyline developed by and producer credit. i doubt they even end up writing the screenplay let alone direct the trilogy. y’all wild.

 

The first few seasons still had Martin though as well. The dip came the second they didn't have the source material and it stayed that way. They aren't completely incapable or anything but they definitely fumbled the ball here late in the game. Though I'm also not saying that pulling it off would've been easy or anything. I don't worry about Star Wars because it'll be original.

 

there’s literally nothing that would warrant being worried about them writing original stories, which they have been good at the entirety of their career lol

 

I'm actually not that concerned about Star Wars because it will just be theirstory set in the universe with (hopefully) loose ties to the overall story. The beginning middle and end will be theirs, unlike GoT.

 

Is the rumor that they are adapting KOTOR based on anything or is it just that SW fans are still itching for it to happen in any form?

The Old Republic MMO not being good is one of the biggest disappointments of my life.

Jedi Academy is one of my favorite games of all time. The Star Wars video game era from like 1996 through 2006 was the greatest and we need to go back.

 

Stannis deserves all the terrible things for what he did to Shireen (I'm watching that episode now and it's just as terrible as the first time I watched it)

 

Jedi Knight II: Jedi Outcast was the best one

 

I couldn't agree more. JO & JA have had the best combat (lightsaber, guns, force use) in any game to this day. It's ridiculous that all the new star wars games have been okay at best since. Thanks Quake 3 for your help.
