I've said that some of the complaints are stuff that has always been a problem, yeah.

Production isn't just what you see the finished product as. Them actively choosing 13 episodes over 20 was a production choice.

 

fair enough. on the logistical side of production, agreed. all of the acting, direction, cinematography, music, etc etc etc except the writing has been pretty stellar.

i think that's part of the "problem." there's so much hyperbole discussing this show about being one of the worst seasons and endings of all time lol. even if you say the writing is the worst any show has ever had (it isn't by any shred of a possibility) everything else the show has done and started doing the last four or so years turned it into such a spectacle/wonder that it pretty much by definition is better than like 75% of other shows out there

I definitely don’t mind it, I’m pretty sure they just missed that conversation earlier. Figured a joke was better than jumping on them. I’m happy to pretend I haven’t read any of it.

i think i'd expect him to be last to do it - but, really jon arya sansa and even tyrion have reasonable justification to want to take a stab at her

 

Sansa “how do I use a knife” Stark would certainly be a shocking winner for that kill.

 

I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Sansa is just fed up with Daenerys' crap and does it herself, and in fact I would probably welcome that above any of the other candidates.

 

what happens to drogon if someone kills Dany? does he go ape and do more burninating? does he just fly away into the horizon? can jon tame him? would be wild if thats how jon killed dany. turn drogon against mama.

 

That boy certainly does have consummate Vs, I’ll give him that.

 

a couple of highlights I've seen around the internet:

"I loved the symbolism in this episode.

Drogon and Dany represented Benioff and Weiss.

King's Landing represented the fans.

The Hound represented GRRM.

The Mountain represented the last two books."


Also:

"They attacked right as Qyburn was doing a software update on his scorpions."

 

Qyburn was the best (and most loyal) hand in the entire show. Change my mind

 

Drogon likes Jon so maybe he'll be able to control him. Unless they kill Drogon before they kill Daenerys.

 

bet all those parents who named their kids "Dany" and "Khaleesi" are regretting it now

Drogon moves to Australia and changes his name to Sarah and tends to messenger birds.
