Now I Know This World Isn’t Spinning Just For Me Prestigious

Neighborhoods leaked two days before my uncle died, and I listened to it on the 8 hour drive up to Ohio for his funeral on repeat. I’ll always have a soft spot for the album for helping me through that time

Thanks! Just got married two weeks ago.
She does like Blink. Not as much as me though. Yellowcard is her absolute favorite. She’s also a sucker for Jonas Bros and country music lol.

She was “unsure” about the new Blink song. Her word, not mine haha. She just had a look of complete confusion when she heard it for the first time. But then I caught her dancing in the kitchen to it last night.

    Prestigious Prestigious

I saw someone say on a Facebook post that in the early 2000s Blink was the biggest rock band going. What do you all think? I was thinking of bands active around then that could have been bigger, and the only two I came up with were Green Day and Linkin Park, but I feel like there were other rock bands way bigger than them then.

    Foo Fighters maybe?

  9. Other bands of that era include nickelback, creed, puddle of mud, pod, incubus, offspring, limp bizkit..

Enema was the 45th best selling album in 1999

Certainly Coldplay, U2, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Linkin Park and Green Day. All bigger than blink in the early 2000s. I don't think they were even among the top 10 worldwide, but we can't exactly calculate that... Sales, charts and tours' gross would be the most reliable factors, I guess.

  12. Haha, it’s why blink was such a breath of fresh air I think to so many of us. We didn’t wanna get higher or down with the nookie.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Was Green Day bigger than them at that point? Weren't they kind of trailing off a bit during the Warning days?

  14. God that album rules. But yeah, little decline.
Although it peaked at number four on the US Billboard 200, Warning represented the lowest commercial slump in Green Day's career, being their first album since signing to a major label not to achieve multi-platinum status. However, the album being leaked onto Napster three weeks before its release may have been a contributing factor to its low sales.[6] to The album has nonetheless been certified gold by the Recording Industry Association of America, and has sold over 1.2 million copies as of 2012.

Leading to the 2002 tour together.

I think it would depend on where we cut the line... If we consider 2004 a part (and the final year) of the early 2000s, there's American Idiot...

I mean if mid-2000's only includes the middle year lol

Obviously they were bigger when American Idiot came out

    Warning is fucking great.

  21. Every time I put it on it reclaims it’s spot at #1 in their discography for me, even if I waver when I hear other albums from them.
