I can’t remember the name of the artist but there was that instrumental guy in Europe I think that made very ava a sounding soundscape-y stuff then his stuff started getting used in trailers and stuff. This reminds me of that and those extended blink bridges in the best way. How’d you find this seemingly random video?

Also, that room looks hella uncomfortable to be playing in. Haha

 

I used to listen to this band a few years ago, and I randomly remembered them earlier this morning so I started going down the rabbit hole of watching their live videos and then came across this one. They're pretty much all I've listened to today now. haha. Check out their song "Night Stroll" for some more awesome shit.

 

So I bought lawn tickets today off of Groupon, I have no problem being in the lawn.

 

I'm having a big summer party in July, Blame It On My Youth and Rebel Girl will absolutely be on the playlist. Blink fam, leave whatever goofy state you live in and come on down, y'all are invited !

 

Something tells me all the people asking/complaining about this have never been to a show and probably weren’t going to this one

I love instrumentally shit like this. I've never really delved deep into the genre (is it like post-rock or something? I dunno) but I always liked this song which is the same kind stuff I think.

 

I'm shocked that someone even asked him to clarify let alone so many people that he felt the need to explain it publicly, hahaha.

My go to bands for this kind of vibe are Moonlit Sailor, Caspian, and Explosions in the Sky.

 

I think for some odd reason a lot of people thought the Wayne video was like a "new" single and not just a fun thing for promo and also thought the announcement was that they were doing a whole set together.

How do you find them? I don't have much experience with Groupon and searched both blink and Lil Wayne and got no results

 

Wow, I'm now inspired to start a pop punk inspired instrumental band. This is like if Explosions in the Sky were obsessed with TOYPAJ and Enema.

To be fair, the trend for a lot of co-headlining tours in recent years with differing acts has been like this.......one really long, 2.5 hour set, with each act doing like 6 songs of their own, joined on stage by the other headliner for a collaborative song or two, then they leave and let the other one do 6 songs, then return and repeat. Would've actually been really cool if Blink and Wayne did do this, and would've definitely helped the blink haters or wayne haters get a little more engaged.

But I love both acts so I'm happy to get 2 separate solid sets.
