Here’s Your Letter is my favorite blink song and I wish they’d play it more

 

Whenever anyone complains about Blink-182 lyrics in 2019, that album and some of these songs come to mind very quickly.

 

Just watched this dvd 2 days ago haha classic

 

I'm ready to hear this song. The weather is perfect for new Blink tunes.

 

I know your dislike for Shut Up, but for some reason the energy of that song gets me so hype. I tend to overlook the lyrics but can see how it’d be a problem for the casual fan hearing that the first time haha.


Edit: Live setting I’d take Roller Coaster over Shut Up anyday. Forgot how good that song is.

We’ve probably pissed and moaned about this before, but why don’t they do the “fans choose the songs” thing where fans can vote on what to hear? Yeah, stick to your standard “hits” but then open up a section of 4/5 songs that fans can vote to hear.

 

I'd rather have "Every Time I Look for You" or even "Online Songs" if I had my choice.

 

How about an entire record? I got you covered.

I want the next EP and a full length from SC, but yeah, me too. They're great.

I’d drop money on a SC tour once they have the full length out.

 

Also super convinced that if Adrenaline had been their debut single the project would be doing that much better

 

You know what happens if a pop-punk band only plays songs that die hard deep cut fans like us know in 2019? They end up playing mid-cap venues in one bus while releasing their albums on something like Fearless Records.

This isn't rocket science. Heh. Like Mark says, what hit are you cutting? They don't play "I Miss You" and there will be riots!

 

I saw them live for the first time in 2017 after being a fan for 17 years, totally glad they played the hits.

 

There's a reason why there's fans like me, who literally built a career based on being a fan of this band and can quote virtually any song they've ever written, and then there's an arena filled with fans who look around a little when something like "Wendy Clear" or even "Violence" comes on. Die-hard are awesome, but people drive to an amphitheater to hear "All the Small Things" and "Mother's Day" played sloppily.

(You want the biggest number of people to have a fantastic time and want to do it again. I saw Coldplay play a bunch of songs I don't even know because I'm not a big fan and it was ... meh .. fine I guess. Wish they woulda played more of the hits.)
