are you telling me a band with a near 30 year discography plays only 15 songs a night

To be fair a lot of bands I go see only play about 16-18 songs. Blink is the second most I’ve seen with 24 counting joke songs. 21 not counting them.

Most was Andrew McMahon with 24 full songs

 

I saw Justin Timberlake do 33 songs and it was glorious

 

I saw Converge play 29 songs in 2012 and it was insane also Anthony F*****o was there

 

it definitely depends on the band, Bruce Springsteen and U2 can play 30 songs and there can still be 20 I wish they played haha but there are definitely bands I know 90 minutes or less of music by

 

2018 average was 24

2017 was 23.

It does depend on the band, when I saw Ghost they played for about 3 hours with a intermission.

 

Vampire Weekend just did a 7-hour 56(?) song set for their album release show. Not really helpful to this conversation, but it's still cool.

 

For an album I love, I hate that art almost as much.

Marks continued reluctance/resistance to play non singles is beyond baffling to me.

I don’t understand why he CHOOSES to be just a greatest hits live act. At and this point, it kinda comes off as lazy/unenthusiastic

 

Have you guys seen the social media onslaught of bands that remove hit songs from their tours?

Today alone there’s five threads of people still mad at Paramore on their Reddit.

A band with platinum singles is gonna play them! That’s why people go to the show! And they play other songs too and swing new ones in from time to time. Those two average of two years setlists I posted are a really good combo.
