Let's hold our breath until we disappear

We'll see. I'm hoping that's the case. The venue I'm planning to go to typically has pit as well, but this show is all seated.

I am only sharing these because I don’t want to be alone in reading this shit. These are all AVA fans who one week ago expressed how Rebel Girl is the greatest song written in a decade.

Jonah Ray (comedian, friend of Mark) commented on Marks post "Lotta dorks in these comments" and people are going in on him. Absolutely hilarious.

Blinks fanbase is embarrassing. Obviously it happens when a band reaches a certain size, but jesus.

FUCKIN SAVAGES IN THAT FUCKIN BOX Prestigious

Definitely has the second guitar playing in the background for the outro if not elsewhere. Doesn't bother me in the least it's a tour promo lol. He's definitely playing the song

That's what I figured lol. I gave it another listen and it seems really out of place.

I really liked Rebel Girl the first 24hrs it came out but I haven't listened since. I did buy an AVA ticket though. Excited to see them live.

My venue has no ga is this all seats???

  15. Lil Wayne’s comments on insta are far more fun. If there are GA pits at these shows, Ima laugh when all the people that complain about the pits being dead at the shows start complaining that the pits are too wild now. Fucking hell.

    FTFY

  16. I'm still debating on getting an AVA ticket. I want to do it, but I also need to save money for my weddin'... so yeah, I'm torn.

  17. Oh Collision Course got brought up! I was at the tsunami relief show blink cancelled on in 2005 and the best thing to come out of that was I got to see them perform that CC set live. I was so bummed blink cancelled. I fucking knew they’d broken up.

I feel ya there. Me and my gf are moving into a new place in a couple weeks and then a week after that, I'm taking her down to Florida (from MA) to meet my family, vacation out at the beach for Memorial Day weekend, and do the Disney thing for a day. So I just put it on my credit card like a responsible adult. Haha.

    Edit: Congrats on the wedding!

I'm just gonna repeat something I said in this thread a few days ago. When I was growing up skateboarding in mall parking lots, everyone would listen to punk rock and hip hop. Blink 182 would pop up on a mix cd right before a Mase song. When Wayne really blew up in 2007/2008, his music would get played at house parties that also played The Starting Line and Taking Back Sunday.
It's weird to me that so many people see this as two distant worlds colliding for one tour. This is more natural to me than A Day to Remember touring with them.

All seats = more moneyyyyyyyyyy baby

  22. I wondered this too but surely you can’t fit as many people in the pit. Is it just they can charge more for them?

Part of the reason we moved to Portland was closer access to concerts and media events in general. It was awesome taking a 20 minute Uber to see The 1975 and having my husband pick me up afterwards when he was just 15 minutes away. Haven’t been to that amphitheater yet, but yeah that’s definitely a further stretch from Tigard area for us. Not sure I’ll make it to this one, but guess we’ll see what seats are going for the day of the event. Try to snag a last-minute discounted Stubhub ticket or something.

Yep. Instead of charging $75 or whatever for GA pit, almost every seat that WOULD HAVE been in the pit is now likely reserved for VIP packages or "platinum tickets." Fewer tickets overall, but a much higher price point.
