Amazing article. What I mainly took from it is that Raul Julia was fucking incredible.

 

Hoping I can watch this on the 6th. Missed my chance for last Wednesday because the power went off at the absolute worst time

Currently at 71% on RT.

All reviews seems to have the same pros (Reynolds Pikachu, Pokémon/human interaction, Ryme city, and Justice Smith) and cons (story is generic).

 

I really don't care about a generic story when it comes to this movie. I just wanna have fun with some Pokemon.

 

I think that’s out of 71% p sure. Weird scale.

 

Yea this seems like the majority of critics who are not general Pokemon fans will probably score it on the lower side and then the audience score will be higher

 

The production design alone here looks completely worth it.

 

I'm more hyped for this movie than Endgame

50 on metacritic has me a little worried.

 

Honestly unless it was getting absolutely abysmal reviews I'm not worried in the least, a bunch of critics that do film reviews and what not aren't really in the wheelhouse for Pokemon and what looks like the care put into the movie. I don't think anyone expected a STELLAR story from it, most people just want the world building to be on point and it really seems like it is.
