This all ended up being more boring than I anticipated. Like I knew their amicable story was bs and then it got boring and then it got exciting again with Tom (I need to see a birth certificate btw) and now it's boring again and every step they take is documented but they're not doing anything interesting.

This entire thread is people talking about her personal life. I thought we were better than that on here.

Especially because there have been plenty of other call outs of other users (non chat thread ones) throughout the years for doing similar things

I guess if someone thinks they're above gossip that's cool u can still post about music too. Idk about other users but her personal life being discussed never bothered me in itself it's the way it was male posters being all weird and making stories up about what dating her is like, posting pics of her butt, saying she's too classy to send nudes or other things and projecting their weird "pure" fantasies of her onto her, etc etc. people discussing fashion or dating or controversies never bothered me. I don't think this thread or anyone in it is like protected enough not to call out. I saw the comment mentioned in the above post, considered saying something and then honestly forgot about it but if someone had said something I'm sure it'd have been met with like unanimous agreement. if someone only wants to talk about the music that's fine too idk. Those are just my rambly thoughts tho

 

I would say make a gossip thread but that would just be you and me I think, and yeah I've noticed less blatant objectification too

 

Yeah I mean if it bothers ppl it can be strictly music idgaf. I prefer the direction threads have taken with not just discussing music but if others don't it doesn't bother me like it's not a cheerocracy. I know certain users dgaf about celebs so I just assumed they were scrolling on by until she did something music related. Taylor is a weird celeb too since she's encouraged speculating about her personal life her entire career so hers can be harder to separate than others but if it bothers ppl then fine

It's really not silly, seems like there are a number of users who feel the same way about it

 

It's not so much people talking about her personal life that's weird or off putting to me, I can totally understand that but some of the posts just come off weirdly to me, mainly Steve's about her boobs but obviously you guys can do what you want.

 

I missed whatever the guys were saying but complaining about us gossiping about fashion and who she's dating when all of her albums are about who she's dating..I think it's silly.

 

Until she puts out more music, there's more to talk about with her celebrity than her music. Her music gets discussed in depth frequently in this community. Deep breaths, guys.

 

I will say I agree there's no reason to talk about how hot she is or how you want to marry her, not trying to shame or make anyone feel bad I'm sure I've done it too
it's harder with the relationship stuff because obviously with Shake it Off she showed that it does bug her when people speculate, and the way some people portray her because of her high profile relationships is messy, but personally haven't seen anything bad here that I can think of

 

Really? This is all about the one little comment. I'm not swooning over her, not talking about how "hot" she is, how I want to marry her, or anything even close to that. I'm sorry that I can't talk about her fashion choices and the fact that what she wore indeed did make her boobs more prominant. It's not like I said "LOOK AT DEM TITAYZZZ."

If I shouldn't comment on a change in appearance, or be aware that she is a female with female part, then OK I'll stop.

 

I was speaking generally about several people here and tried really hard to not word it in a way that make people feel bad
