I actually don’t do the pledge at all even though we are prompted to during morning announcements. My kids got up routinely at the beginning of the year to do it and were super confused as I carried on ignoring it completely lol

 

I think I hate Modelo because that’s what my buddy was drinking at 7am when he woke me up because he was having a midlife crisis. So by default I was drinking Modelo by 7:30am.

Don’t drink at 7am. That’s the moral of the story.

Back when I lived in the Bay Area it became tradition to do Bay to Breakers every year. Technically, it’s a race. But most of the 50 thousand people attending use it to get in costume and drink and get fucked up and you start at around 7-8am and god damn it is so much fun. I miss it so much.
