Like I had accepted that a Sum 41 Nickelback cover was probably going to be bullshit when I tried downloading it. Just pure joy when my still-forming 13 year old brain saw that it was legit.

 

Borders used to let you sample like 30 seconds of every song before you bought a CD. I thankfully was able to avoid buying a Three Days Grace CD because of that, however much I thought I loved “I Hate Everything About You”

I quickly moved on to IRC. Messing around with all the apps and spam garbage was a pain in the ass.

I remember listening to tell all your friends at borders and forgetting it for what seemed like years. I think it was only like 6 months or so

 

I remember using Napster on my grandfather's computer when id go to his house because he had roadrunner internet and everything didn't take a days to download.

Also used Kazaa, BearShare and limewire. I don't know how many times I messed up the computer and my grandfather had to fix it. That's why I ended up doing electrical engineering /computer science.

 

Then when you could share a folder through aim that was cool. I'd just download people's libraries from there and merge them into mine.

I remember a user from AP.net we shared alot of music over aim.
Dont remember his name exactly but it was ajp followed by numbers.

 

One of my college roommates being a dumbass got me in super trouble by not knowing his music folder was shared on AIM.

Blink is really good at picking first singles. I'm ready for whatever they unleash and whenever they do so.

 

The guy said it’s a 5 word title, California-ish, a little mellower than previous first singles.

 

If we believe him: the title has five words, Matt's taking the charge, and it sounds like California. The guy is not super impressed but it's growing on him.
