I watched a brightened up version of the beginning of the battle on YouTube - there was SO MUCH that happened that I did not see! HA The shit that was happening with the smoke from the dragon fire and the blizzard looked incredible. Spending all of that money and effort to create a lot of stuff to then not show to the audience is a little bit silly. If I were the producer I woulda been like "Yo, how about we don't pay for 90% of this shit and just turn the lights down."

lol I googled it and it seems other outlets have also picked it up...just so funny that a good housekeeping article got recc'd to me by the advertising powers that be because I read GOT stuff

 

I don’t buy it because I think it’s just a case of the brain making words where it wants to, but it has definitely gained traction.

And yeah the subreddits are super toxic, they’re basically only useful for funny memes and not ever reading comments.

 

Although I will admit watching the “NKwinsthethrone” sub implode was some great schadenfreude.

 

It's definitely a neat theory, but there is literally nothing in that scene to suggest he is looking at anything other than the dragon. I know they can do like a flashback 'here's how I did it' thing next week and show us whatever TF they want, but everything about that shot of Jon Snow yelling makes it seem like the dragon is taking up his full undivided attention.

 

Yeah I was never a reddit user in the first place but as i became more online I realized virtually everyone my age used it and it seemed really useful so I said hey I'll check out the politics reddits annnnd....yeah lol.

Westeros.org has a better forum though the fans there are SUPER book over show to the point of excessiveness
