Wind Up is my choice for best Foo Fighters song. Primarily because of the heavy part around 2:00 when all the music is going nuts and Grohl is screaming like an animal. Wish they did that more.

People would like the first Foo Fighters record a lot more if the band didn't blow up as much as it did.

Hole also deserves a lot more credit for being genuinely fantastic. People are too hung up on Courtney Love's public image to give them a chance. 'Live Through This' is a classic record.

 

Low is great too. i generally agree about the singles comment a bit earlier, but they usually release have the album as singles anyways

I have a lot of sympathy for Courtney Love. She has been through more shit than any of us could imagine.

She's also gotten far more vitriol slung at her than pretty much any man in rock music with similar issues. She was always a mess but I think Kurt's death was the last straw, and constantly being blamed for his death didn't help.

 

Honestly every Foo Fighters album has at least one song I love. Stranger Things Have Happened is super underrated.

 

I've always loved the song "Next Year".
